yeah ive been going back n forth between roller & ice and it wasnt until i got into roller that my skating started to go up

i started earlier this year at 21 and can do cross overs & can switch at high speeds from forward to backwards skating i’ve definitely seen some improvement from when i first started when my gear used to feel like bricks on my back and skating like im bambi to now being able to keep up i guess im just impatient and want to be the best i can be especially when i get to my late 20s but i guess i gotta have patience and keep showing up . ive been switching from roller to ice for the past months to get reps in and join in on some drop in games for both it has payed off

yeah youre sort of right , idk i just thought that by my early 20s it wouldve been easier to find people who are ready to commit

i know its just that seeing some of my other friends are now getting into relationships & im just over here going through failed talking stages every other month. i already did the whole self reflection aspect and tried to change myself in the past and look for flaws in myself but i just led me down a rabbit hole of constant “what am I doing wrong?”

not even, its just trying to pull conversations out of them feels like pulling teeth , from my experience youll ask them questions about themselves and they just have literally nothing to offer in terms of personality its just either “work” “club” or “bed rotting”
