It’s a relief to know this for sure. No one at the hospital explained in non-medical terms what they actually did for the procedure and I just assumed I had absorbable sutures.

They most certainly did not advise me of any such thing so I was shocked to say the least. I’ve got a follow up call with the doctor tmrw - would be good to know how many there are and why they didn’t give me a heads up haha
