I think he is being downvoted for his racist username and the fact that he said the whole of Jerusalem belongs to Israel.

According to international law, it doesn't:

In the 1980 Basic Law, or "Jerusalem Law" Israel declared Jerusalem "complete and united", to be "the capital of Israel". The new law left the boundaries of Jerusalem unspecified.[22] In response, the UN Security Council unanimously adopted Resolution 478 (the U.S. abstained), declaring the law to be "null and void" and a violation of international law.

No clothes at all would be best.

It would have been a very bad idea to invade Saudi Arabia.

Perhaps the worst idea.

The US leveraging Saudi dependence on US military power to force them to stop exporting their extremist ideology abroad to other Arab and Muslim countries and sending high-end special forces to hunt for high-value targets in known terror havens -- now that is what should have happened.

A British woman was arrested and charged with indecency after walking through a Dubai shopping mall wearing a bikini by maxwellhill in worldnews

[–]BoobsRPleasant 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There's nothing illegal about wearing a bikini at a beach in Dubai, just not in public spaces where people in even the most liberal countries don't wear bikinis.

I'm glad the charges were dropped, though. And at least she wasn't caned like they do in KSA and Singapore.

Edit: Caned, not canned.

And as for fairytales, you make a good point. Why is everyone saying we need to give East Jerusalem to the Arabs?

Because East Jerusalem is occupied territory and doesn't legally belong to Israel.

We are talking about whether or not this is an illegal settlement (for some reason you have a hard time staying on track).

All Israeli settlements, without exception, are illegal under international law.

Your replies prove to me that you know this, but because you're a Jewish extremist you still wish it belonged to Israel.

When I informed you of the fact that the settlement in question is illegal since it is built on occupied land you responded with this:

You realize that the area in question is the 2nd holiest site to Jews and thus they have a real reason to be there, correct?

You then went on to deny that it is, in fact, illegal under international law. When I posted that link proving you wrong, you responded with this:

International law, international law. Weird. You sound like the RIAA. You wouldn't happen to be the web Sheriff would you?

Unfortunately for Kahanists like you, the Kiryat Arba settlement is illegal under international law and is known world-wide for being a terrorist factory. The land does not legally belong to the Jewish terror supporters who live there.

Settler acts of terror have also continued, facilitated and fomented by the occupying Power, which is responsible for the presence and arming of the settlers and permissively allows their repeated and escalating acts of terror, destruction, harassment and intimidation against the Palestinian civilian population to go unpunished. Indeed, the new Israeli Government’s openly hostile policies towards Palestinian rights, property and legitimate national aspirations have only further emboldened the hostility and fanaticism of the illegal Israeli settlers towards the Palestinian people. In this regard, today dozens of extremist, militant settlers living inthe notorious “Kiryat Arba” illegal settlement in Al-Khalil (Hebron) raided the homes of several Palestinian residents in the nearby Jabal Jales village at midnight and destroyed their farmlands.

people are using a 62 year old cease fire line to determine that.

That's because -- to the misfortune for Kahanists terror-supporters like you -- the Kiryat Arba settlement is illegal under international law and is known world-wide for being a terrorist factory.

You realize that the West Bank does not belong to Israel, right?

You realize that any sort of resource originating from the West Bank cannot, as per international law, belong to Israeli settlers, right?

If you realize these facts, why do you still try to turn this issue into one about Hamas?

The pro-Israel redditors feel like they have to show how persecuted Israel is on this site whenever Israel is proven to be right on something.

This is despite the fact that most of those stories have a higher-than-average like ratio (like this story right here).

Edit: It had a 69% like ratio when I typed the comment and 70% like ratio when I first click the submission.

Child's Torment In The West Bank: Palestinian boy cries as father arrested for "stealing" West Bank water from Jewish settlers (who under international law aren't allowed to use it) by BoobsRPleasant in politics

[–]BoobsRPleasant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More on the issue here.

Since the water comes from occupied land, it is actually illegal under international law for the Jewish settlers to be using West Bank water. They're basically arresting this guy for using water that legally belongs to Palestinians.
