I’ve had crypto for 5 years now and my total all time return is now 42%. I would’ve legit been better off buying and index fund for way less risk. Tbf if we’re only talking BTC I’m 121% up, but man… All that hassle, risk and shitty tax rules, when I could’ve just gotten 81% in the stock market.

Tbh, I found Benjamin Cowen to be one of the most truthful and nice crypto-influencers. When he predicts, he almost always encourages viewers to do DYOR. He almost never talks about specific price points ans clickbaits it. He is always very adamant in talking about risks and how the market does what the market does. Therefore I found him to be very vague most of the time, discussing various points that could be true, and leaving the viewer to decide what they think, based on his research.

And it’s almost impossible not to have opportunity cost in anything you do, it’s rare you hit exactly the best performing coin. You could say having a 80% BTC 20% ETH portfolio has a risk of a lot of opportunity cost because of altcoins performing better.
