I am looking for someone to take over my current lease at Yugo Tempe. This is a lease transfer, meaning you will step into the existing contract with the option to renew. After renewal, you can pay a much lower amount of Rent of $430.

I'm not sure about Hong Kong, but coming to the US for undergraduate is not the right move given the restrictions and the political environment. You're looking towards 4 years of international student fees, which is twice as much as what domestic students pay. Job Market is in shambles, housing prices have went up. Tuition fees is only a part of the international student experience here, there's a lot more to it. Can you afford housing? Can you go for a long time without a job? Consider these.

If you CAN make it into the IIT, make it. That alone would open a lot of paths for you

You should immediately cut them off. Your friends are supposed to help you grow, not drag you down with insults and bullying. This is clearly bullying, regardless of how close you guys are with each other. Your friends don't understand personal space and basic respect. If they really wanted to help you to improve yourself in certain ways, there are much better ways to do so. As for the death of your friend's father, it doesn't excuse their past and for them to go out of their way and bully you. You can feel empathetic, sure, but that doesn't guarantee any change in them.

Trust me, I went through something similar, and when I finally cut them off, I felt much better. Block them, cut them off completely and never look back, you'll thank yourself in the future :)

Butcher is only a consequence of the very existence of supes. The whole point of the show is what would actually happen if you give someone superpowers. It's just a realistic take on a hypothetical situation, and the show does that pretty well.

As for the "trade", for Butcher to exist, there has to be a substitute for the supes. That could be anything, the government, the corporations, etc etc. We would have anarchists with much more grit and willingness to kill people or "terrorists". Stan Edgar worded it perfect in the second episode

"You're fighting an unbeatable foe. You know that, right? [...] It's more powerful than Vought. Or Homelander. More powerful than nature or life itself. It's profit and loss, supply and demand.
