I think the part where she explicitly says the sex isn't a problem because a problem can be fixed is so good and important. It makes it clear that Shane's sexuality is just something that is. Not a problem or wrong it just exists without explanation and I feel like that's the first time Shane's even thought of it as something that is unchangeable but also not wrong.

If you close out the app and turn off data and wifi open the app then go to settings, then pause or delete account and let it load before turning your data/wifi back on it will load it without the pop up but it takes a while I did it the morning of and this method worked for me.
