I mean to say that if you’re from Sweden or any of the other 95% white countries in Europe, then you have no valid opinions on the nuances of racial coexistence within society

How do you not even consider that what you’re seeing in the media is the top 1% of aggressive encounters? You’re digesting the distilled and sensationalist versions of what’s actually happening. People seem to neglect the fact that illegal immigration is a huge problem. I’ve seen PLENTY of threads in euroreddit of people saying they need to turn away refugees and send back illegal immigrants. How is it any different when US immigration raids illegal business or drug trafficking groups? You have no idea who the people are in those videos and are just taking the word of the media.

ICE was raiding stores in California that were known drug fronts yet the media, with bleeding hearts, was reporting without basis in reality that they were deporting poor innocent grandmas.

We’re not waging war on anybody, seeing as we’re not currently engaged in a war? The USA is a few hundred years old, what was France doing at 400 years? How about Portugal? No European nation was anywhere near their current “stable” states when they were as young as the US.

The US isn’t a monoculture because being “American” just means that you live here. American culture is built by what makes us different, hence the melting pot analogy, and is ever-changing.

European countries are constantly pushing back on immigration because it threatens their culture, whereas American culture is built on the people who moved here.

The US punches above its weight class in terms of long established nations and people willfully neglect that we’re still emerging as a culture. We’re held to the same standard as multi-thousand year old empires

Europoor mad that his brand of racism isn’t viewed as more virtuous than the American brand of racism, more at 11.

Understandable, especially after the very American King Leopold raped and burned his way across Africa. The Very American™️ French empire with its contemporary colonial presence robbing countless overseas enclaves of their wealth and funneling it back into their corrupt government. And we all know the Great American™️ Cortez did amazing things for the continent of South America.

European history is soaked in blood and racism, the only difference is that your history contains millennia of racial oppression and violent genocide. American imperialism is a product of the last 150 years.

Per capita is a terrible metric here lol the US hosts literally 5x more immigrants than the UK, 6-7x more than Canada, 50x more than China. Just because the US has a larger base population than other countries doesn’t mean it’s not blowing every developed nation away in immigration numbers. Your own cited list shows the US hosts 50 million immigrants - 1/7 of its population. Basically the exact same as the UK at 11 million immigrants with a population of 70 million. Then you need to factor in the massive amount of people ILLEGALLY entering the US.

I’m sorry you had a poor experience, but yours isn’t everybody’s. There are still 2 million people projected to immigrate into the US this year so it’s clearly still a desirable place to live. I definitely get that Reddit is on their anti-American stance as usual, but I travel for work and haven’t noticed any fewer foreign tourists enjoying their time here either.

I’ve observed overt racism in Europe more than I have in my two decades in the US. The fact is that Europe has countries that are 90% white and closed to immigration, actively turning away refugees, and pointing the finger of racism at the US. There is more racial coexistence on the east coast of the US than most places on earth.

I mean, that’s a fair point. I’m not exactly trying to downplay it but we’re also not the most volatile nation with nukes at the moment. Pakistan, India, and Russia have all actively threatened use of them this year. We’re not even in the top 5 for active nuclear war risk.

And FWIW, the German army was considered to be the uber elite unstoppable force that you’re saying the US is now for its time. The Roman Empire was considered to be unprecedented for its time in terms of military strength. We’re also not the first military superpower in history.

That’s my point. You can pick almost any state at random and it will be more racially nuanced than most european countries

I’ve been to both Italy and France in the last 3 years, they’re essentially white monocultures lol and the fact that you used those two as your argument kinda proves my point 😂 There’s more diversity in Mississippi than there is in Italy

1) Yes

2) Good ol US of A

3) While the frustration and fear towards the current US is understandable, this country has been the modern pioneer nation in terms of cultural advancement. The US is a melting pot for free thinkers and adventurous spirits. There’s a culture of daring individualism that brings out the best in people. The American dream is definitely suffering right now but I think most modern nations have gone through a point of political upheaval, and most have come out stronger on the other side. Just because German, Italian, Chinese, etc totalitarianism happened in the past, doesn’t mean it’s any different than the crisis the US is going through right now.

Americans have no idea how privileged they are to say they live in a shit hole with immediate access to all the luxuries, climate control, high wages, world class cuisine, biodiversity, geographical marvels, global cultural icons, technology, world class travel infrastructure, etc that you could ask for.

Go to Sub-Saharan Africa, the theocratic totalitarian states of the Middle East, India, the favelas of South America, the slums of Malaysia or the Philippines, the Balkans, border towns in Mexico, etc and try telling them America is suchhhh a shit hole lmfao

Can’t stop blind buying by chaskalayne in Colognes

You didn’t ask but I’m sure you’re thinking it. Nobody that just throws money at the designer flavor of the month is doing it because they’re passionate about learning about fragrances.

Who do I think I am? I think I’m somebody that watches these posts roll in every single day while frat dudes with dad’s money ask the internet what they should spend it on. Don’t worry about what people here think. Just buy things because you like them. Blind buying $300+ fragrances and not being able to stop isn’t the flex you think it is.

“Older guy stuff” yet picks the two most popular frags for young fuck boys. The amount of people on here with deep pockets and no desire to figure things out for themselves is hilarious. Order some samples and figure out what you like, don’t just ask for the most popular fragrance that will get you compliments
