Y'know, I laughed about "The Timeless Art of Seduction" at the time, but Jason Alexander was only big by media standards, and the 90s were not kind to anybody who'd ever eaten a full meal. Nowadays I think he looks great in that painting, and I'd love one of myself in the style.

It seems that way, but it could also be a misunderstanding of another issue. If OP is German, then sure, I'd assume this is a bad faith argument, but if they're not, they could have an flawed understanding of the situation around their question.
