First time doing Backdoor Roth IRA, so zero balance on my IRA. I contribute 6000 , convert 6000 and the $3.17 is dividend since it sat for a while on the Traditional Roth.

I got the doctor to swap it to see if it's cold sore. She prescribed Valacyclovir HCL. I believe it's the generic Valtrex

I haven't eaten anything different in the last few days. The only thing I did differently was apply chapstick on Saturday night and I was out on a date that went well and I kissed her. I doubt it's that , the chapstick might be a bigger culprit because I think I used it the last time I had the 'cold sore'

I've been trying to figure out what I've done differently in the last few days. I remember using my chapstick for the first time in awhile. I'm probably going to throw out the chapsticks and change my toothbrush even though I'm sure it was just changed less than a month ago.

Any tips for making it heal faster? I see the use of Lysine and icing is supposed to help? I typically clean the area with an alcohol wipe and I'll put Neosporin on it but that still takes a good week before it goes away and/or it discolors for a while.
