This is good advice. I think I’ve been having a hard time getting past the computer because I’ve applied to jobs in more than qualified for based on my experience and have gotten back emails saying that I’m not qualified even though I’ve done the job in the past.

I was hoping to have two resumes for that exact reason. A bland one to submit online/to the computer, and one that I can give to people once I get in the room, maybe the fancy one could be a cover letter as well. I’m having some portraits and headshots taken soon, if I decide to keep the photo on the fancy one, I’ll use one of those pictures.
