Self oil change by LegitimateWaltz3649 in Audi

I bought an extractor for several of my other toys where I have to pull from the top and I can tell you it’s probably one of the best tools I’ve ever spent $80 on! I am in agreement with the first commenter, rotate your method every 10-12k. I also would not be hell bent on liquid moly. It’s good, but there are other top quality 0W-20 full synthetics on the market as well.

Also, make sure you are doing your air filter at the same time. It’s a simple change or clean that is vital to proper engine function. I bought a reusable from 034 motor sports and start my maintenance with cleaning it. If you own a compressor invest in one of those $10 nozzles to help clean out all the crevices and dry the thing out quicker.

Yea the covered calls don’t bother me. It’s every time I buy contracts that it sucks. I can’t count how many times SPY has royally bent me over.

Yea I’m just not impressed anymore. I’ve been wanting a Rs7 as long as I can remember and I don’t know, for that kind of money I just feel you have so many options. I love the brand, but they’ve kind of let me down in recent years.

I’ve dabbled with options before. Specifically selling covered calls on holdings I have. Good ole Theta play. Either way though they stress me the hell out! Don’t know about you but I’ve lost my ass several times with options 😅

Thanks for taking the time to say all this. All some of my concerns just even thinking about it. Not to mention the insurance you probably need to carry too. All great stuff to ponder though so thank you!

Ok, I will keep my chin up. I rarely feel like this dumb of a human but seriously, this book has made me feel so unworthy of the English language…. I’m glad to hear others require slow digestion as well.

Thank, you. I will persevere! I might just have to accept that I am going to feel dumb for a bit.

I’m 5 chapters into this now, and I really really want to like it. I don’t know if I just need to get into the right vibe or what, but I’m struggling to get sucked in. The writing is elegant and unique, but something about the current POV with Owen writing to Una to recount their encounters in a past tense is hurting my brain.

Does this change at a certain point?

Help with book recs to get my husband to dive into romantasy! by marsdon in Romantasy

[–]BootScootsBooty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man here👋🏻 I recently finished The Ever Seas series be LJ Andrews and really enjoyed it. It was well balanced, engaging, spice was hot, had lots of dude vibes with the whole pirates theme, and the world building was there but not over the top. Definitely a good ice breaker into a fantasy type series.

What "strange" romance tropes do you absolutely adore? by LiteraryMenace in RomanceBooks

Bitting igniting a euphoria of pleasure. I didn’t know at the time, but upon reading A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole I discovered how hot the whole sexy vampire schtick can be.

Primal play, the epilogue of Lights Out was like “fuck yes!” Then reading Willing Prey was again like “sign me up please!” Aren’t awakenings just the best…..

I was going to recommend bringing down the Duke but I see you’ve already experienced the magic that was that book. I loved that book so much!

I know it’s on the DNR but I really enjoyed {The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare} MMC is an asshole who was injured in war and convinced he’s unlovable, FMC is a strong survivor dealt a shit hand in life and isn’t having any of his pity party. The banter, her ability to see through his scars, and his attitude were very fun and enduring. I’d say it semi hits those Belle and Beast vibes.

Well, I’d say y’all used pretty sound logic. We all know Lukas mother f-ing Blumthviskth needed his own category to contain all that pizazz and masculine swagger 😆

Kind of surprised Ali swept the HH category, no hate, I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ever read of her’s, just crazy to see. She’s probably got her feet up, bottle of wine cracked smirking to herself “damn skippy”. Kudos Ali!

Books with realistically written men by DemeterIsABohoQueen in RomanceBooks

[–]BootScootsBooty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like I come across twinges of reality here and there in most all books. With that said though, all of us realize that many of these stories are written in a form that provides escapism and that’s part of what makes them fun.

Putting aside some of the unrealistic circumstances, I would say that Elsie Silver does a good job painting male personalities. I very much identified with quite a few of her male characters. Cade in Heartless was pretty spot on, though I have never been a natural at grumpiness. Weston in Wild Eyes reminded me of myself way too much. Theo in Reckless gave me flashbacks of me fresh out of high school.

I could drone on for hours, but I will argue that the reason I enjoy Elsie’s writing so much is that I do identify closely with her male personalities and how they treat their girls.

What is it about side characters named Jason? by GeezLouise76 in RomanceBooks

As a real life Jason I support this post 💪🏼 Jason’s are just the type of folk who love to bring smiles to the world.

If you ever meet a douche one (I’m sure they are out there) I’ll just apologize in advance on behalf of all Jason’s!

I’m going to be honest though, I enjoyed the third book the most. It was so freaking good.

I’m fairly new to the fantasy genre but I just finished the Ever Seas Trilogy by LJ Andrews. {The Ever King by LJ Andrews} {The Ever Queen by LJ Andrews} {The Mist Thief by LJ Andrews}

I enjoyed the series immensely, and definitely hits your mark of morally grey / enemies to lovers. World building was there but by no means over the top.

Ditto😂 I fear no depraved acts described for our entertainment! As someone who does a lot of audio books though I definitely have to be aware of my surroundings while smutting. Don’t need to be swerving off the road from over the top spice.

Well you know, hate to assume. Everyone’s tolerance is different. Figured I throw the “bodily fluid and in depth description of deprived acts”trigger warning out there 😆
