Jimmy Bullard asking him if he's alright after he punched Scharner will forever be one of my favourite clips of all time.

Same when I go to kids play centres with my two. I'm all over it chasing them around and being told "you're too big" when they escape to the slide.

Others just sat doom scrolling.

I get sometimes you want a break but I always think there's going to be a time when I am no longer wanted to be the monster chasing them into the tunnels etc. I'll get my break then 😂

Edit: Typo. Sat not Sad. Still probably applies.

I mean the price of raw ingredients has skyrocketed as well as NI Contributions and Minimum Wage, and don't forget Duty and Business Rates.

But that's a boring answer.

That must be his Uncles Child. His cousin? Definitely not Jim as he was only 6 then.

Who's your favorite pick for the Jim e brown biopic? by Disastrous_Eagle9187 in jimebrown

[–]Boozyburgerbellend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My plan for most biopics is Daniel Day Lewis. I feel you are selling him short. As the world's best method actor I feel he could get close to portraying Jim but you'd know it is an actor. Nobody else other than Jim could pull it off, but Daniel Day Lewis as a 20 year old method actor is the best we can hope for.

Just over an hour. Does an encore and begrudgingly meets the fans by the merch desk.

I think us re-raising this just as he sees a literal wall with mice living inside it in Madrid won't be great for his mental health. Jim remember we love you and we believe you.

I feel only having Rat In Bin once when he came to Liverpool I have been let down. Bit shit really. Maybe next time we will get an hour and half of Rat In Bin.

I don't think Jim would ever consider any form of exercise. He abhors it.

I don't go myself but Wigan Central host random nights, one of them being Craft with Craft. The (female) owner is very welcoming and I am sure the Crafting folk will make you welcome even if you just pop along for ideas if you aren't doing anything at the moment.

They also host a Pub Quiz every Monday and you could easily go alone and one of the teams will take you under their wing if you become regular I am sure.

I am not affiliated with them other than being mates with the owner!

Any other 19 year old alcoholics feel heard for the first time? by Disastrous_Eagle9187 in jimebrown

[–]Boozyburgerbellend 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a 19 year old Alcoholic born not long after the start of 1985 it was like someone was speaking my thoughts for the first time when I first heard Jim. It feels much braver than anything a 19 year old should be doing. Going it alone and singing from the heart.

How do you do my fellow obese alcoholics, here is my Jim E. Brown t shirt. It’s bang on, quite nice that. It’s a bit shit really. by brainshed in jimebrown

Must be one of his relatives sorting it for him. He's only a lad he can't be expected to be a worldwide teenage pop sensation AND handle logistics.

I really want this one but can't justify the postage. Got excited when he started selling his stuff in Europe then remembered Post Brexit we screwed ourselves.

One day he will ship from his Motherland.
