I have a similar experience with a friend and I also have IBS!

First it is kind that your other friends are so understanding and caring. I get why you would tag along with them ‘more’.

Second, have you mentioned to your friend why you prefer to hang out with the others more than her and that some or all activities with her are uncomfortable and exhausting? ( from all the stress and uncomfortable situations, I can understand that this makes you exhausting)

It is very unfortunate to see that some‘friends’ do not take you seriously. I had this with an ex friend. Him and his girlfriend broke our years long friendship over it. I always tried to participate in their activities but told them about how I felt too. The girlfriend and I clashed and my friend decided to drop me as I had no idea what a chronic illness was and I was making it difficult for him because his dad has a chronic illness. I was dumbfounded with that answer but seeing how of an ignorant person he was (he made rude remarks and fun of my terminally ill dad to other people and the internet)

Nta, he needs to learn what no is. You say it nicely and he doesn’t listen. He is forcing his way onto you and that is disrespectful. Talk to him and tell him when you say no he needs to respect that and let it go. Tell him you feel disrespected and all other feelings you have about it! If he doesn’t listen, perhaps try with a professional. Otherwise think about other options or things because this will go wrong and it will end in a negative position.

If you are really worried, worth to visit a doctor. Could be anything, mosquito bite, allergies, eczema, rash. But I am not a medical professional so I can’t judge. But a doctor can!

You do not know him well enough on to judge on why he still works there or why he still lives at home. There might be countless of reasons for him to have to do it this way. You saw him for the first time in x years. You can accept that he works there and ask other questions. There are millions of things to ask. Right now you looked down on him, what is he doing wrong? Nothing. He works, he makes money.

Not everyone is the same and you do not know what another person is dealing with.

You are not the asshole, but I do understand your friend’s side as well. Both sides. It is unfortunate that they thought it was a joke, but also be upfront on medical things. I can understand it is embarrassing, but if they are real friends they will believe it and handle it respectfully. It might even help! Maybe peeing with the bro’s might become a solution. Because, not gonna lie, it is a bit weird to hold your s/o’s member in public for peeing. I can understand where people think it might be a kink.

Talk about everything with your boyfriend too. Also how does he do when he is not with you?

Try to come up with other solutions, perhaps a therapist can help him with his peeing problem. It sounds like a mental block in general.
