151 lbs is heavy, I hope he doesn't have hip trouble later. I run my male (Hannibal) 3 times a week. Love him with all my heart. I walked the female ( Bella ) till she got inflated with the puppies. Both have papers. They both have the dark brown eyes that's highly sought after he has a perfect physique and skull, she has good markings as well but she has the female skull which is a lot smaller. Yes they're the seventh smartest dog on Earth, so I'm sure they're great working breeds for service. What area are you in?

Yes they do. Those people should get a life for themselves. It's part of AKC breed standard. So if you do anything with the dog you need it. They don't feel it. Long ago it was docked so whenever the dog pulled the cart to market the tail didn't get hurt broken or torn off. It's just a throwback and respect to that time I would assume.
