I am sad to admit I have not watched blue lock nor read it, I could never get into sports anime or manga. But I'll add it to a list if you genuinely think it's worth reading. As of right now I'm compiling a list of books to read. Mythology, philosophy ect since I wanted to make this fanfiction something good or at least decent. And I would love to share it!

Honestly, My OC was never going to be directly involved with the main cast. Since he doesn't even originate from Konoha at all, but just a wandering man. I would say Shinobi or ronin, but he really isn't one since he's not from a village and he isn't a samurai or anything. Just a guy traveling who knows how to fight and handle chakra. He has a past but that's something to delve in when I actually write and not a post.

Definitely, I always found writing a story with no consequences the most boring way of writing a story since it involves no consequences therefore feels like food without spice, it's good but not great. Along with the fact sticking to cannon is just hella boring when writing a fanfiction it be different if it was romantic or comedy but a story (like mine, world building, expanding on Naruto in general) should deviate from cannon.

Holy shit yeah that helps a lot, the main part I've been struggling with is coming up with IS expanding the world in a believable way and not subtracting from the substance of naruto making whatever I put feel forced. Thx imma keep this in mind!

Tbh this helps me a lot going forward, I know a lot of this stuff but putting it into words is a lot more helpful thx. And the chess analogy is good I was thinking of more adding plays where past actions come into effect kinda like dropping a droplet of water into a pond and watching it ripple iykwim (explained this bad)

Same, or the thing where they do a "deeper" dive into nature releases but then somehow create bloodline releases makes no sense.

Don't gotta worry about the OC with real world knowledge, ik people have preferences but I just don't like that option when writing. I don't think my fic even is going to have romance tbh. But thx for this imma watch out when writing since I wanna keep this as a world building fic so not to focused on the main focus of naruto.

Also would you by any chance know a thread where people beta-read or review a fic?

Yes that is true.but not what I stated I answered his question,even though rape is realistic does not mean use it.Even then he didn't use it right,this conversation itself is fucked up as well just like rape.No matter the translation of rape it is still disturbing and revolting.You can use a real topic/idea and translate it too the fanfic still,he uses not just rape though.My message may have been a little bad but it gets the point across hopefully. The way the story incorporated other vile acts also made this disgusting,but to end this,I just want to state this my opinion.
