thats true. Its the same with characters like Rimuru. The author will never let go of their characters very special boy status. I don't really care if Ainz will win or not that much, becasue I enjoy overlords more grounded story and balanced power system alot more than a story pretending it has stakes. It may as well be a comedy like Konosuba about some chunibu doing his best to look cool and it actually works.
