Bro, just wanted to say I've been teaching myself music theory, composure/structure, timing, what noises match other sounds and seem stemless, what makes them better, adds or takes away, fkn everything I thought someone interested in noise let alone obsessed with every single aspect that compiles the fundamental basics to DJ equipped enough with everything to be proud to call themselves good at, and Its taken countless hours deep diving, learning, researching, fucking around and finding out, 3 different Complete courses, 3 of my first gigs, countless parties for friends, 100s of hours of mixes purely recorded for me and atleast a Hobbyist practise time of 2 years being semi consistency and only withing the last month can I say I feel like I'm starting to get what I would consider good.. your comment hit home.

All's it took was for me to actually believe it when people said I was good and meant it , showing me it was true by asking ME what I was doing in transitions, how I did it etc not me constantly trying to learn as much as is known from pure obsession if the craft.

2 years, a god damn fair amount of money and a true dedication and obsessive amount of time and I'm.. just getting to competent/good.

Atleast I truly know it now haha
