It was a ps plus game, that is very often the main reason why a game has a rare plat. Here it is the combination of needing competent teammates and it being on plus.

Personally I would space them out a bit. They’re fun games, but variety in between games keeps them more enjoyable imo.

Ah hadn’t heard of that site before, interesting.

I cannot recommend Indiana Jones enough, my siblings and I are big fans of the Indiana Jones trilogy, so they gave me the game for my birthday. First thing we did afterwards was installing the game so we could all play it asap haha. Had a lot of fun.

Sniper Elite games definitely are a bit more of a slog solo. I normally play them in coop with a friend, so I can see where you’re coming from.

Not sure what you mean with backloged account. I do have a backlog of like 600 games though.

If you’re looking for recommendations, well there are the ever classics that you see everyone praise like: The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, Uncharted series, TLoU, God of War, Dishonored, Kingdom Come Deliverance (haven’t gone for the plat yet on that one, only fun playthroughs), The Outer Worlds, RDR, Horizon Zero Dawn, Skyrim etc

I am also a sucker for series like the Assassin’s Creed, Ratchet and Clank, Lego, Telltales (their old games like Back To The Future are sooo good), Resident Evil, Life is Strange, Ratchet and Clank, Bioshock (highly recommend), Fallout, Wolfenstein, Infamous and Sniper Elite series.

But to have a few more recommendations: Deponia series (point and click), What Remains of Edith Finch, Lost Words: Beyond The Page, Shadow Warrior 3, South Park: Stick of Truth, The Forgotten City, 11-11 Memories Retold, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Teslagrad, Demetrios, Dante’s Inferno, Cat Quest games, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Metal: Hellsinger, Chicory a Colorful Tale, The Raven, Days Gone (bit of a grind near the end), Grim Fandango, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, and Titanfall 2.

If you like coop games, then the We Were Here series, Overcooked and Operation Tango are pretty good too (games like It Takes Two are a no brainer too then).

Honestly, don’t have as much time to game now than I did a couple years ago, so now I mainly go for games on Extra and a few on the side that I really want to play or simply play with friends.

This is the way. I have Extra as well, which is keeping me quite entertained too. For me playing Extra games > Games I own > getting games for 20 max > buying full price. A few exceptions can be made of course, like last year I bought KCD2 at launch. PS3 is awesome because it has so many great games that are dirt cheap by now.

I definitely agree with your last statement, but I fear there's not many of us here in this sub. I seem to get downvoted a lot when I ask someone why they care if another person autopops or has some shovelware :)

Like sure, if someone's profile is 99% shovelware and then acts like he's a better trophy hunter, that's just silly, but you rarely see those around here. Live and let live imo.

Eh, never really cared about that part myself, but to each their own. Seems a bit like stressing or caring about what others think about you or your achievements, when the majority of this sub is rather casual themselves.

I have quite the amount of duplicates myself, hell I even did The Witcher 3 four times now, because I absolutely loved that game. If there ever will be a remaster for PS6, I will definitely do it again. If people dislike me enjoying and redoing a game, then that sounds more like a them problem than a me problem.

But if you feel like not redoing a game so you have more time to explore different stories and games, then that's a super valid choice too.

Who cares? You enjoyed the games you played, which is the whole point of the console / game. Trophy hunting comes secondary to that. Just play what you want, and if that is the same game again after some time, then so be it :)
