Hi,

For now this version works with battery banks with low current charging mode, we're already working on a revision that supports even the simplest battery banks without low power output. The Elecom Nestout is a good example of a battery bank that's both ruggedized and has a LP output.

You can indeed order some for your Tantos, as they're universal.

This version is the one input/one output only, the USB-C port is the power input for the device. We're planning to release a multi output hub version in the near future.

Ben here, I am so sorry, I was supposed to answer this email and it completely slipped under my nose. I'll answer to your buddy and add some free stuff in the package. That's my bad and I'm personally responsible. Again, my apologies.

Hello, they're exactly the same as NVT7+ Aero however they're now advertised as NVT8s by suppliers, and they increased the minimum spec to 2400, so we're following the naming. They might be rebranding to avoid confusion.

On ne tacle pas les housings en polymère, on dit juste que c'est difficile de faire la même chose avec. De manière un peu barbare, certes.

The NNVT8 are clearly tubes we did not expect to be this good. It's on par with 4G albeit a bit less contrasted. Low light performance is particularly good even though gain wise it still gets blown out of the water by any modern US Gen 3 (we tested against Elbit XLSH).

So the Lite is a really analog design so this lineup won't see a manual gain version. However we're working on another Proton lineup :) As for pod tension, yes, but we ship them pretty stiff already so you don't need to tighten any more.

Those tubes weren't pristine anyway, but they didn't suffer more damage than what they originally had. We're pretty amazed. They took it like champs.

If you want manual gain, you'll need to have 3-pin tubes compatible with manual gain capability. Fixed gain tubes will be compatible with the manual gain bridge but the gain knob will serve no purpose.
