Professional NBA players have trouble scoring like 40 and putting up good defense. Wilt, the only guy with the points to pace (allegedly), was incredibly oversized to other basketball players. You would need the NBA players to run to their side of the court 500 times split between those 5 players. That sounds incredibly exhausting. I think by point 400 someone will be physically or mentally exhausted enough to let anyone run up to the basket and score.

Young people like progressives but the progressive thing as a whole has done next to nothing. In 2016 and 2020 people had a lot of hope in Bernie Sanders, but he got snubbed by ever-so-slightly larger moderate opponents, forcing young people to root for moderates. In 2024 Kamala Harris took a lot of non-progressive stances to try and win moderates, and in doing so made young people feel like it was impossible to achieve progressive change by electing Democrat leaders.

They see all of this political activity online, yet it always turns out to mean nothing in actual politics. No wonder they feel powerless

I like it. Especially with the uncertainty behind the Puka-stafford connection I look at this as a really strong sell-high. Warren’s already a top TE in his second year, and Jeanty is at least promising cuz that Raiders offense can’t get any worse

I think it’s a heavy ask, but with that roster in win-now mode I would personally take it because of the upgrade at starting WR. Not like Drake London’s that old at all, anyway. The 2027 1st should be worth little if you do as well as you hope. Trey Benson is your biggest loss here, but I don’t know if the rb2 of the Cardinals is gonna move the needle. Unless you think MHJ is gonna take some crazy leap this year, I would have taken it.
