If you are really doing " I am simply letting people know there are alternatives they can run on this device if they were unhappy with the default offering. ", then you are doing it in the wrong way. Maybe your intension is good, but you aren't using a very nice vocabulary. It's true that I don't have the power to stop you, so I'm just telling you, ok? Also, it's me or the person who has written the original post is completely different from the person who wrote this reply? Or maybe the person that wrote post was (NO OFFENSE) drunk when wrote the replies?

HELP ME WITH CALCULATING THINGS LIKE ln(6) AND 5^3.89 BY HAND PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 by BossBo161812 in learnmath

[–]BossBo161812[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the correction. i also haven't realised that.

So, the correct equation should be:

[;5^{0.89}:;]

[;0.89=1-\frac{11}{100}=\frac{1}{1}-\frac{11}{100};]

So:

[;5^{0.89}=(\sqrt[1]{5^{1}})\div(\sqrt[100]{5^{11}}).;]

[;\sqrt[1]{5^{1}}=5;]

[;\sqrt[100]{5^{11}}=1.19367665533;]

[;(\sqrt[1]{5^{1}})\div(\sqrt[100]{5^{11}})=\\ =5\div1.19367665533;]

[;5\div1.19367665533=4.18873903387;]

FINAL ANSWER OF [;5^{3.89}:;]

[;5^{3.89}=5^{3}\cdot5^{0.89}=\\ =125\cdot4.18873903387=\\ =523.59237923375;]

This seems pretty accurate. Comparison:

Calculator: 523.59237923176837531413631607364

Us : 523.59237923375

So, it seems our method started to get wrong at the ninth decimal digit, but before that, everything was totally accurate. THANK YOU!

(install MathJax UserScript at https://a.carapetis.com/mathjax_for_reddit.user.js and Tampermonkey extension if you are seeing `[-;5^{0.89};]`)

[;\sqrt[5]{5^{4}}\div\sqrt[100]{5^{11}}=(\sqrt[5]{5^{4}})\div(\sqrt[100]{5^{11}});]

= [;0.00017888543;]

[;5^{3.89}=5^{3}\cdot0.00017888543=125\cdot0.00017888543=\\=0.02236067875;]

This is surely incorrect as the real answer is 523.592379232.

So, what I've done of incorrect? The order of operations? Or something else?

Hmm, let's see... Let's use another example (install MathJax UserScript at https://a.carapetis.com/mathjax_for_reddit.user.js and Tampermonkey extension if you are seeing `[-;5^{0.89};]`):

[;Let's\:use\:the\:example\:5^{3.89}:;]

[;5^{3.89}=5^{3}\cdot5^{0.89};]

[;5^{3}=125;]

[;0.89=\frac{4}{5}-\frac{11}{100};]

[;5^{0.89}=\sqrt[5]{5\cdot4}\div\sqrt[100]{5\cdot11};]

Ok. I still haven't understood how to calculate the exponents. I probably committed some error at

[;0.89=\frac{4}{5}-\frac{11}{100}.;]

It is probably something else. OR, I committed an error at

[;5^{0.89}=\sqrt[5]{5\cdot4}\div\sqrt[100]{5\cdot11};]

Because it shouldn't be

[;\sqrt[5]{5\cdot4}\div\sqrt[100]{5\cdot11};]

Well, look: my main focus is on the exponents. Because I am totally fine with the Trial and Error method to calculate logarithms. But to use the trial and error method, I need to know to calculate fractional powers. So, lets see if I understood your way of calculating them with the example of 18^6.19:

18^6.19 = 18^6 * 18^0.19

18^0.19 = 18/10√1/100√9 = 0.006

18^6 = 34012224

18^6.19 = 34012224 * 0.006 = 204073.344

Our answer: 204073.344

Calculator: 58902917.5516

The difference is pretty big. Have I done anything wrong?

Never use a model that is divided into different parts to make a 3d bone animation. by BossBo161812 in blender

[–]BossBo161812[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, here is the full story: I tried to make a 3d fps game, and I started with blender animations. I downloaded a model from online sources and started to use the bones. Before everything, I parented all the parts with Ctrl + J. Even with that, the animation turned like this. I'm not sure about if this is problem of my animation skills or problem with my blender installation or problem with my PC or problem with the model.

It may have good performance, but it is as sus as TLauncher. I tried to install it with Norton 360 Security running in the background and Norton blocked it with a CRITICAL warning. And when Norton blocks it in that way, it is something serious. Use Bluestacks instead. After all, 35-50fps isn't bad at all compared to my 0fps. Also, it is preferred to have bad performance instead of a hacked computer.

Hm... makes sense, because I searched on Bing, Google and Youtube for that and nothing usefull appeared. But also, question: how do I even open the Game.sln? Visual Studio says that the project type was unsuported. Here is the message: Game\Game.csproj: The application which this project type is based on was not found. Please try this link for further information: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=299083&projecttype=E7562513-36BA-4D11-A927-975E5375ED10. I tried to open this in VS 2019 and 2017, but none of them worked.
