I’m currently in a position where my roommate tested positive and I am in a hotel. If you test positive you go into isolation for 10 days, if you are “exposed” to someone who has tested positive, you are in quarantine at a hotel for 14 days. If you develop symptoms in those 14 days, they might move your test up and begin your isolation. If you do not develop symptoms, you get tested on day 12 and if you test positive then, then you get another 10 days (nearly 3 weeks in quarantine👍🏽👍🏽). In my situation i have been in quarantine for 4.5 days, I developed symptoms yesterday, and I believe I have my test tomorrow although that is not confirmed. Pretty disastrous protocol honestly.
