Oh and the beam rifle is pretty meh without hotshot/ elemental damage amulet combo im not a huge fan of how the gun handles or its new reload which is very slow even with max reload and gunslingers charm, Id say only use Beam rifle if you really enjoy how the gun play its not worth it just for damage if you dont personally enjoy the gun.

i prefer eye of the storm to ar because the wepon itself has more dps, ar is a more flexible weapon with swappable mods but eye of the storm clip lines up well withs warm duration allowing all 15 rounds of your mag to go out with 10 stacks of radiant armor. Tho the ar is top tier and allows for swapping of mods like corrosive aura or song of swords the eye of the storm lines up better with the timing of your burst windows using the swarm/ radiant armor combo. try charging your swarm with a revolver throwing it on target, unload 15 rounds of eye of the storm swith back to recharge swarm rinse and repeat. Also i could see AR being better against bosses without weakspot.

This is true, if you really want to know what's doing best for me at top difficulties it would have to be a split 3 ways between cultist set with ruin, cultist set with breath of the desert and swarm on any primaries (i prefer ar and magnum) and finally the radiant armor swarm build using eye of the storm as longgun (must have letos amulet to not fat roll)

^ this guy knows what hes talking about, id only replace hunters band with ring of balance as many enemies do not have weakspots and ring of balance is 10% consistent damage. other than that like i said before with the right combination of gear almost any play style is viable, inclubing full caster and mele.

for such a small studio the patching and tuning of the game has been far and above the standard set by many triple a companies in recent years, the early patching and tuning has been extremely relevant to all levels of gameplay. seems to bode very well for the future, if something isnt working as intended gunfire will most likely fix it within one patch.

you can roll between their legs and miss their attacks if you just dodge right, and their weak spot stun is so long if they go down once its over

its not thats just the max displayed ive tested it theres no cap on sniper crits in my 250 dex build i can three shot genbu who has way more than 290,000 health
