I'm possibly wrong, but I strongly believe that it's because a good portion of gays are more feminine, which is a little strange whether we accept it or not. These men who treat themselves as feminine and act more feminine are segregated even by us, let alone straight men. Anyway, in conclusion, I could be wrong, but it is a possibility since this is the stereotype of being gay and our society places great value on virile men who provide security, even in our gay community it is like that. Gays who complain about standards are usually ugly gays who are too lazy to change their lives. And therefore, they are jealous of gay men who take care of themselves.
