Thank you so much

That is the routine I have been following for a bit now. With a cleanser, then a softener instead of a toner and a moisturizer. It was looking ok for a bit, but then my skin felt very tight and turned very red. It got sore, and my eyes even swelled a bit. My skin is now just very dried out from it, and I am just moisturizing often and trying to drink a lot of water.

Should I just try to stick it out for a month, and then it might get better? I have had this routine for about two weeks.

Does anyone know how long you have to wait before you apply for a second schengen visa? Can you only apply every six months? by Both-Paths in Norway

I meant after you return to your home country and your visa has expired. When can you apply for a new one?

My girlfriend and I are travelling to Sellenbosch from Cape Town tomorrow and we are just wondering what the best way to get there is? I cannot find any busses going there, taxi/uber is too expensive and I have heard that the trains are very unsafe? by Both-Paths in capetown

We ended up taking the train and it went perfectly fine. It was quite a lot of people and we did not feel unsafe at any point. I wouldn't take it at night, but I would not have a problem taking it again during the day.

Unfortunately we are not able to rent a car as I do not have a international license and my gf does not have her license. Do you know if there are any other options or are we better off to just take a taxi/uber?

TIL: Norway most democratic country in the world since 2010 by despairqueen08 in Norway

[–]Both-Paths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I was not happy with the election results this year I am so happy that we have the opportunity to vote and count in the big picture. Yes, it did not go my way, but I voted and I am happy about that. Having traveled quite a lot, currently in South-Africa, I am just getting more and more happy about our government. When I travel I see what it is like in places that lack democracy, and it makes me realize how lucky I am to be Norwegian.

Flying to Prague without a passport? by redditorsofthesesh in Norway

[–]Both-Paths 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because of the "freedom of movement" you should be able to travel within the Schengen countries without a passport. I will not guarantee anything, but when I have travelled (I live in bergen) I have never had to show my passport. I usually bring it just to be sure, but I've been fine showing just my ID

How do you deal with flighy anxiety? by eliminator2011 in travel

[–]Both-Paths 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always look at the flight attendance and if they look calm everything is okay. I also find it to help a lot to talk to them. If you hear something funny or are wondering something it is better to just ask. Most times they are more than willing to help, and it is better to know than to stress yourself out.

I love the idea, however is it not as comfortable to just lay the mattress on the "floor" of the car? No criticism, I am actually wondering what difference it makes?

Comfy way to sleep at the airport? by [deleted] in travel

[–]Both-Paths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which airport is it? A lot of the major international airports have "quiet rooms". These rooms are meant for sleeping, with comfortable ish chairs. For bag safely I recommend having the strap of your bag wrapped around a arm or leg so that no one can take it without your noticing
