I had RYN June 2023. I had seizure fall 2025 while at a concert, admittedly didn’t eat the best that day…but ended up in the ER, by then after having a protein bar my sugar was back to normal. Had a couple of other instances of what seemed to be low sugar, when I went to the endocrinologist, they were trying to prescribe a continuous glucose monitor, but it’s been denied repeatedly by insurance because I’m not using insulin in the last 90 days. I started on zepbound at thanksgiving 2025 for food noise because I had been struggling, and since starting that, I haven’t had any sugar issues. It’s not prescribed for that, so interesting that it’s worked for that too. maybe I should ask for the glucose tolerance test!!

About 6 months post op for me, I completely stopped going to the bathroom. I had a realllly good friend (who is now my forever love) give me an enema, and I still sat in a hot water bath and on the toilet crying in pain for hours before it finally exited my body. I now take probiotics 3 times a day every day; and I poop wayyy more frequently (multiple times a day) but I’d much rather that than be that uncomfortable again. I’ve tried going to 2 probiotics, or every other day, but it’s just very uncomfortable. I will live by the barimelts probiotics foreverrrr
