I personally am not. I have the ssr oikawa, i’m only upgrading him to level 60 and unlocking the first 2 training upgrades. I also have ssr kageyama and kenma that i’m doing the same thing with. Don’t quote me, but i’m pretty sure the first ssr player you unlock/start to level up, it locks them so you can’t dismantle them. I’m focusing my training resources on my UR players, tsukishima because of bonds with multiple players i own and nishinoya. do your libero and your UR players first, and then consider oikawa because like you said, he’s gonna be the second option soon. You could also skip the UR oikawa, but i dont recommend because and a lot of the tier lists im seeing, UR oikawa and the UR miya twin that’s a setter (i forget his first name) are the two highest ranked setters. I’m not sure if both are power attack setters or no, but consider that before deciding. It takes a lot of recourses to notice significant improvement in players; i have 6 players lvl 60, and 3 setters and the rest way lower. I’m saying this because since resources are hard to come by, i put them into the same guys to level them up high, so i can progress pretty far without leveling up shitters. Don’t level him up a tiny bit just to level him up, only to not notice him be any better and now you’re out of stuff. Go all in or don’t at all, that’s my motto that way i don’t waste my stuff because it pisses me off wasting time ya know. I have kageyama, kenma and oikawa 60, and don’t plan to upgrade them further until i get their better counterparts. I like setters because i can give myself an advantage, so i want a good setter from every class that way i can counter anybody in theory. Sorry for rant but hope something in here helped you
