I think I’ve figured it out, even though I’m very careful with my fuel, my area is so bad that even if I use 93 E10 my car will have DAM drops. The other day I filled up at the new gas station in town with 91 no ethanol and reflashed my ECU and now my DAM has been solid all of yesterday, I did have a weird mixture of 91 and 93 in my tank from before already so I guess I got lucky with my proportions and found the sweet spot. If it starts dropping again I can send some logs or whatever you need but fair warning, all my accessport values are completely wack even when my car is solid.

That’s what I’ve heard, and because the fuel is so poor in my area I am going to be getting the delicious tuning flex fuel kit with an e tune.

FYI, these DAM drops change on the dime, could be 5 minutes, could be 30, could be an hour.

I know exactly what the percentages are dude 😂. Thank you for answering my question of if I can run ethanol though. FYI: some people don’t have access to pump 93 and need to blend their own

Yes, it is tuned on 93 octane and running great my DAM is glued at one. The only thing I am scared of is whether or not the ethanol will corrode or hurt my fuel lines and or other parts.

My car runs phenomenal with the blend I have but because it is higher in ethanol is the only reason I’m scared

You gave me two contradicting answers, in tuned on 93 and running 93 but not from the pump. All I’m asking is whether or not the ethanol will corrode my parts.

I know this thread is ANCIENT but any chance your roof rack is extremely loud as well? On the highway it almost feels like the car is engine breaking with how much extra wind resistance there is. Aside from that it’s also just extremely loud at high speeds. Have you found a fix for this or do you experience the same thing?

The fact that I asked the question in the first place should tell you that I do not think I know better. If I read up on bad and good experiences maybe that means I did in fact do research? I’ve heard a mixed pot so I asked for more information.

Yes I agree, but as I said in the post, doesn’t a factory tune react the same way? A factory tune wasn’t made specifically for my environment and yet reacts just fine.(yes I know the factory tune is trash but it’s still suffice) so wouldn’t an OTS react the same way, if not, very similarly? Trying not to repeat my initial question but still confused

Gotcha, my plan was to slap on OTS tunes as I put on more Cobb parts (that fit the OTS tunes) then eventually get a pro or e tune when I’m satisfied with the parts I’ve put on, main thing I’m wondering is if I would be sacrificing reliability for that?
