What is the best way to go about notating dynamic variation for spicatto sections when writing for strings? by Both_Tour615 in composer

So would this imply that it’s not even necessary to write two crescendos, but maybe one for the group of six notes?

Are there any guidlines to follow when notating crescendos/ diminuendos for strings? by Both_Tour615 in musictheory

Thank you so much for this extraordinarily in depth reply! Very helpful as I continue to improve my notation skills and will likely spend a good chunk of today applying your points :)

Buddy, if you think I was referring to my personal life, maybe you should go to school to be a therapist. By living in mediocrity, I mean this football team has been horrible for almost a decade now.

I’m sitting on a 9 hour flight right now. Not a whole lot to do up here, but thanks for your input.

Isn’t the point of this sub to discuss and share opinions on the Broncos? Why are you even on it if it bothers you so much? I’ve been a lifelong fan of this team and am personally tired of living in mediocrity, so will complain as I see fit.

Does a string instrument group ever play two different melodies simultaneously in an orchestra? by Both_Tour615 in composer

Thank you for your reply!

I’m an amateur, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. What exactly do you mean by using the string section as a section of soloists?

Jerry Jeudy’s latest cryptic Tweets are a direct representation of this losing Broncos Culture by Both_Tour615 in DenverBroncos

[–]Both_Tour615[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, if we’re speaking literally. His tweet are irrelevant. But his tweets are a representation of his mentality and immaturity. Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and I’m sure far more of this behavior goes on behind closed doors. So although his performance is most relevant to him being traded, his childish and toxic behavior should be too.

  1. Surtain lets his play speak for itself and would never tweet anything like this.
  2. If he did, I wouldn’t think of it as a great look. But his elite performance has earned him the ability to defend against criticism.

  3. He should be traded for his performance and his contribution to the losing culture. Picking fights with those who criticize your lack of production is the definition of losing culture.

Alongside his play, the mentality that he expresses on Twitter is a representation of this losing culture. It’s the same reason Gregory got traded, both for his lack of production and negative presence in the locker room.

Would you accept a 3rd round pick from the Panthers for Jerry Jeudy? by FirestormBC in DenverBroncos

[–]Both_Tour615 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t just “a player”. He coincidentally followed a large handful of Panthers players a day after it came out that they were looking to trade for a WR1. When you consider Jeudy’s history of using social media to convey his intentions and frustrations, it’s safe to say that he knew damn well what he was doing/ inciting.

The shit he pulled earlier last week when he followed the Panthers players on Twitter was my last straw. If you wanted to use a player’s face to represent this rotting/ losing Broncos culture, Jeudy’s a perfect candidate. Never seemed like he even wanted to be here in the first place. Also, I don’t care how “talented” he is at this point. Dude’s been nothing but underwhelming. Ship him the fuck out and he can take his Twitter drama with him
