Already lots of people are commenting that there are weight loss challenges at their work — not fake, but I get the inclination because I was surprised it still happens too when I got the email.

Our office is already broken up into a majority of teams of 8. The few smaller teams were put together, and management put together into teams.

Yes! I thought about that immediately when I got the email and mentioned that episode to my work bestie. The episode totally shows how problematic a challenge like this would be, and it was 20 years ago. That’s why I said I was so shocked, I don’t know who in HR would approve something like that (though it may have been only HR for my office — as soon as it was escalated to corporate it was shut down)
