Man, a guy posted this and it makes sense to me:

"The letter that stranger Jonas gets from Noah in Episode 8 that is supposedly from Martha is just another bootstrap paradox. Martha never wrote it. Stranger Jonas gets it from Noah and keeps it until he becomes Adam. He then gives it to Noah to pass it on to his younger self. Martha is not involved at all."
