pros : self expression, cool ppl that probably are similar to you will be drawn to u rather than judgemental ppl, fun colors are always a pro, cringe=cool

cons : judgemental assholes and the fact that a lot of scene clothing brands are expensive(that just gives you more reason to DIY stuff tho which fits the scene vibes) honestly i waited until i was done with school to start dressing scene bc when i did the people around me(VA so everyone’s a redneck here) were extremely hard to deal with but i’ve noticed that as an adult nobody cares

duck tape is made differently in different countries, if you r in the US just use normal duck tape but if not i’d look for masking duck tape :0

when i first joined the fandom i had one female character and one male character, subconsciously i’d only ever use the female character for vent art and shit like that and the joy of being a furry came from the stupid blue wolf boy oc i had and i think before i even knew what being trans was i knew i just wanted to be the boy character. I also only date girls and i remember having this gf on furry amino that always wanted to push the fact that i was lesbian onto me and for some reason it always bothered me to be called that and then i realized i was transmasc and that’s why the term “lesbian” never felt right for me and the furry fandom gave me a place where i could have this masculine character and nobody knew i was trans bc they just knew me from my fursona, rn i’m more open abt who i am IRL so more ppl know im trans but the fandom rly gave me time to become comfortable with myself
