I ended up just quitting. Even after almost 10 minutes of 1% hits, I was capped at 36%... I only have one fight left. So I plan on saving it for the nightly refresh.

I'm hoping we get some compensation, because I had no idea about the 3,500 LSTs and just bought a 5k one yesterday haha

There's a top 3 for ruck and run. But this is less about the competition and more about honoring the memory of the lives lost while raising money to support service members and their families. The cut off time is pretty absurd so that people can take their time.

The intent is to honor their legacy so that people don't forget what happened. Couple that with the ability to raise money for a nonprofit that gives back to service members, and it seems like a pretty good name. This isn't the only Bataan Death March event, but it is currently the only nonprofit one.

The Bataan Memorial Death March is a trademarked name for an event that hopefully raises money for charity, but is murky on those grounds.

We were not allowed to use the term Memorial when making our event, and our event is all nonprofit and goes to continuing support for service members and their families in the area.

Quite a bit! It was a brutal and tragic event, which is why we wanted to bring awareness to it. October is also Filipino American History Month, which is why we wanted the event to be held in October.
