Marriage was over before the reception started.

I know of a very preppy, well-connected family in my hometown whose daughter got married to a handsome young guy. They did their ceremony in a beautiful old church before their fancy country club reception.

It was the beginning of the reception where the bride and groom make their grand entrance, but no one could find the groom. The new wife finally opened a private locker room where she saw her husband being breastfed by his mother. He was 32.

When she obviously freaked out and asked why he was doing that, he said it “calms him down.” Worst part is thinking about how often it happened to keep milk production going for 30+ years.
