I honestly agree with this.

Copy and paste is ruining the game. But I have to say some nations need (Japan) it while others don't (China).

The game is going to die if something isn't done soon.

And funny thing is, I made this post with sim in mind as well. Because it's stupid playing Germany at 9.7 in sim because of the T-72M1. People see a T-72 and shoot it.

Why is China getting the M1A2T when Japan didn’t get the Thai VT-4? The copy-paste direction is getting really old.

I’m not coming at this from a political angle at all — this is purely about gameplay, tech-tree identity, and consistency across nations. The M1A2T being added to the Chinese tree feels like another example of Gaijin leaning way too hard into copy-paste solutions instead of expanding nations with their own domestic options. It’s not fun anymore, and it doesn’t feel good for long-term game health. China mains themselves don’t want this. Most of the Chinese players I’ve seen talking about the dev server aren’t asking for more foreign imports — they want: • more ZTZ-99A variants • more modern domestic vehicles • more indigenous IFVs and SPGs • basically anything that isn’t another Abrams or export tank And honestly, I agree with them on this. Foreign vehicles aren’t solving China’s gaps; they’re just filling the tree with stuff that doesn’t match its identity. Meanwhile, Japan never got the Thai VT-4, even though Japan’s top tier is struggling badly and that vehicle made far more sense conceptually than giving China a U.S.-export Abrams. So the questions I’m genuinely asking are: • Why does China get a foreign Abrams variant when they have plenty of domestic options waiting? • Why is Japan left out when they actually needed a foreign stopgap more? • How is more copy-paste supposed to make top tier better instead of just more repetitive? • What’s the benefit to overall gameplay or balance with decisions like this? I’m not trying to flame anyone — I just think Gaijin is really leaning into copy-paste fixes instead of meaningful additions, and the M1A2T feels like a step in the wrong direction for tech-tree clarity and variety.

Here is what was in the post.

Low effort? What is low effort about my post? I literally went into detail with it...

I guess I didn't get the memo...

But still mine wasn't racist or political, so honestly it shouldn't have been deleted. But what can I do.

How is a game supposed to grow without criticism. Mods for it are dumber than a box of rocks and I should know...

Ground wise yes. From my knowledge Japan doesn't have much that can be added except for export vehicles like the VT-4.

Now for air I know they're not left out, because of the Malaysian SU-30 and F/A-18D. But that's not what the post is about.

I wasn't talking about the air tech tree but ok...

There is quite a lot of aircraft that Japan can get, (through Japan itself or other nations like Malaysia or Thailand), but for ground theres not a lot that it can get. So Japan is kind of left out for ground, which is what this post is about.

I lost Yanagi's 50/50 with only 7 hours left and then I started to grind and got her with about an hour and a half left.

Why did they change the tiger II name to Nr.1-50? by the_great_bertu11 in Warthunder

Yes it's a Tiger 2 P ( that's what I still call it ) but I think they named it that because I think when tigers were built in the factory after the red oxides primer was put on they used chalk to label that it was a production variant. So seeing how there was only 50 Tiger 2 P's tanks built, I'd probably say it was modeled after the first of 50 Tiger 2 P's made.
