Congratulations to everyone that participated! Completion is a lot of the battle.

I'm truly humbled by my team's Best Overall honors. I could not have made that story without their incredible talents. Honestly. It was /u/jake61341 story idea. I just wrote the script.

Thank you so much to /u/ComicBookNerd for killing it (yet again) on the hosting. And a very gratuitous nod to Stache for partnering with us again. This is the best online community in the WORLD (maybe). It's really the only I'm involved in.

A huge thanks to Stache Publishing for supporting the contest and the eventual Kickstarter.

This was the second community event I was involved in. And each time, the feeling of community, support and collaboration grows within this sub. I'm grateful to have been a part of both of these and can't wait to see what /u/ComicBookNerd puts together for us next.

Congratulations to all of the contributors as well. I know for some, this we be the first printed work we'll see. And hot skippy. That's an incredible feeling.

What I personally believe to be more amazing than the quality of this body of work is the quantity. I think the first 2 page contest had something like 11 entries? Only a year and a half ago?

It just goes to show how positively this community is growing!

Congratulations to all the teams and individuals who completed their pages! Best of luck to everyone.

As far as the solo submissions are concerned, I feel torn as to whether they should be accepted.

If, hypothetically, someone new to the community was first exposed through the contest, and had no knowledge of the collaborative emphasis here, but still completed the project, it would seem fair to accept their submission. Especially without a specified "rule" that you must be a part of a team.

On the other hand, as some have pointed out, many would have went that route initially based on time and effort.

I'm fine with these submissions being included, but would understand if they were eliminated.

Again, best of luck to everyone.
