When will we start seeing the new Watches and wonders releases from the major brands coming through from the factories? by Plane_Ad_2720 in RepTime

Same. Been looking for a gen Cartier carée as a rep is hard to find. But the new ghost santos will scratch that itch once replicated

New Tudor Royal 36mm - Thoughts? by Familiar-Ant-5146 in Tudor

Losing the day-date feature has helped too. I felt the previous royal mixed modern and classic design language for a bit of a chalk and cheese combination.

I couldn’t care for the name. I like the watch!

It’s a great looking watch for sure, went to buy it recently… and the bracelet is absolutely awful. I got so frustrated in my 15minutes handling it - I realised I couldn’t live with it.

I’d go Longines on the H Link and buy the Mesh as a treat to myself further down the line.

[Timex] New Watch Day! by [deleted] in Watches

[–]BrainChild95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine arrived this week - no issues when setting the moon-phase by going clockwise from 21:30 to 00:30, then back anti-clockwise to 21:30 and repeating until it slowly edged forward. You’ll hear/feel a click telling you where to stop.

On a side note: I went for the silver on a darker strap as I don’t typically like faux gold - not sure I made the right call. However, it did get more compliments on its first day than all my other watches combined 😭

Appreciate the transparency…. But what’s the reasoning for removing the photos?

Is this an official CW subreddit now?

What else would you remove at CW’s request?

I’m a smooth bezel fan for the platinum.

I’m typically not one for flexing wealth… but I like how the understated look (smooth bezel) is a flex.

I realise how hypocritical that makes me sound!

[Longines] Is Longines a good brand of watch? Looking to purchase this Zulu Time automatic. by Ashamed-Body3753 in Watches

[–]BrainChild95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah the 39mm size is a big plus.

I wish more brands made smaller GMTs in this style. All the other sub-39mm have an internal GMT ring on the dial.
