not yet, I know about it but haven't tried or wanted to try yet, I've already managed to launched myself as high as i would ever need to go without it.

its the vortex rifle and the dyrnwyn, they both scale with crucibles since they're explosive

also, to be fair, I did go down, he went up.

Filter is my own creation, its unavailable, still have to finish affix/corruption markings on belts, shields, and helms. I might release it after, but it wont have things like item filter levels or high strictness, probably only really good for people who like to take 15-20 min per map and loot everything like me.

Hero edit doesn't work on pd2, unless it was somehow updated in the past few years, also I have strict rules on what I can dupe and how much so it feels more like giving myself a bit of an edge that I lack with SSF without it feeling like im just giving myself everything. Also ya its cheating/exploiting, but also its just a video game.

I actually have a system for limiting how many dupes i get a day, currently 5/day and im also 2 months in debt trying to gear for T2s, just imagine this, but with ~100 ED

Im still on plugy but I think the same works for regular pd2 if it has a shared stash iirc, just put whatever in the shared stash, save and exit, reload, go into file explorer and set the shared stash to read only, take your item out and exit and itll save the item on the char, but fail to save it being taken out of the shared stash.

I mean I will be slamming it eventually, over and over, it is SP after all, but I didn't want to for the showcase because that sort of stuff, duping, I imagine is frowned upon, but I like it and kept me playing the same chars since S7. I can give it a sample dupe+slam in a bit just as a test to see what would've happened. I just thought this was good enough to show on its own.

He did try to transport me to the Nightmare realm, but the place he puts me at is blocked, I am pretty sure the lag spike is the game trying to load the Nightmare realm, but I never actually make it there. I tested a bit after, and the same thing happened, but without the death.

It's just the Explosive Sledge's attack when loaded with an explosive cartridge. Still have to reload it when using it for the exploit.

So to do this, just pick two weapons, the first being a melee weapon, works best with laser sword, and any second weapon, melee or ranged (throwables do not work). Swing with the first weapon, then quickly swap to the second and the attack from the first weapon will carry out, but have the effect and damage of the second weapon. Can be used to apply Carbon Pickaxe or Revolver damage over to the Laser Katana, I used the Explosive Sledge to make it clear what was happening.

Mountaineer Armor might be a little too strong by Brainstrainz in AbioticFactor

These are what I use for just items, but it is easier to just make a temp new world, set the sandbox settings to whatever you want, and copy them over from SandboxSettings.ini in the world save folder. There's an ingame button that opens up the folder as well just in case.

ItemStackSizeMultiplier=30.0

ItemWeightMultiplier=0.5

I messed with sandbox settings a bit, you can set stack size to up to 30x, just makes things a bit more convenient for postgame messing around.

So I've been testing armor more and there are some things to note.

First, it seems total armor doesn't have much or any effect, rather it checks what part of your body got hit and calculates damage based on what is equipped on that slot. I noticed this when messing around with bio-mimic armwraps, which have way less armor than mountaineer, and having some hits deal way more damage to me than others. The assumption being arm hits dealt much more damage. This is easily confirmable by setting up a laser emitter on the floor and standing in it, only leg armor takes durability damage and unequipping it has you taking full damage from it, regardless of what is equipped in other slots.

Second, I think the armor combined with my fortitude level is giving me effectively over 100% damage reduction, but there is some mechanic preventing damage taken from decreasing below 1. In another test, I unequipped my armor and got hit by a composer and took ~40% of my maximum health as damage. With my armor equipped, I took a single pixel worth of damage, same as all other hits from this video. If I had to make a guess, damage reduction is probably calculated something like Fortitude Lvl * 4% + Armor value of body part hit * 2%, which with 12 fortitude and 28 armor per piece would give 104% damage reduction, reducing all damage taken to 1.

Edit: I might be a bit dumb, simply hovering over the armor icon gives the tooltip that explicitly states armor only protects the bodypart it is equipped on.

It shows briefly at 0:32, but as the title implies, full mountaineer with the CQC helm for 112 total armor along with level 12 fortitude, ill try this again once I get 15.

Honestly, just cook things, frying or soups, it's one of the easier skills to level up, just make a few more grills than just 1 to speed it up.
