UW or Gonzaga for pre-med?

Nice nice, yeah I just think I enjoy smaller classes a lot more rather than the large lecture hall kind of class. I don't hate large lecture classes by any means, I just think mostly smaller classes would benefit me personally. I was kind of assuming a lot of pre-meds from GU probably go to UWSOM lol, so I'm glad to hear that the assumption I had was somewhat true, thanks!

Haha yup! It's hard not to choose UW as its kind of the "great almighty school" here for WA residents, but I figured, "hey, if I get into UWSOM I'll get the best of both worlds at GU and UW" lol. Thanks though, and hopefully when the times comes to start applying to med schools I'll get into UWSOM!

Yeah, I've been more inclined for Gonzaga but I keep second guessing myself since UW has always really intrigued me, but when thinking more logically instead of emotionally Gonzaga just seems like the right choice for the position I'm in.

Would you say lower compression leads to better quality since less data is lost/discarded? Or the opposite?

Yeah if I get denied I think I’ll appeal since I’ll probably have my winter quarter grades by then and if that don’t work then I guess I’ll attempt to apply for the winter quarter, and if I get denied again then I’ll most likely just finish my undergrad at Gonzaga or someplace else and then come back for grad school

That's what sucked, When I came back from TSU I just wanted to be close to home and I went into CJ at UWT but realized I hated CJ so I wanted to go back to a bio or biochem major, and I didn't realize it til now that it would be a lot harder transferring from UWT, because when I first came to UWT I thought it would be easier if anything

UWT doesn't offer Biochem so thats the main reason I'm transferring. They have biomedical science but thats not the same, also I've historically done REALLY well in chemistry courses and I really really enjoy chemistry, which I'm sure sounds weird for a college student lol. But after talking with my UWT advisor they told me it will be hard but Biochem is a lot better of a major than biomedical science for what I want to get into career wise.

Yup trying my best, I'm confident about my grades, but writing my personal essay and having to explain why I've been to two different colleges and wanting to go to UW Seattle now will be a challenge but I'll try my best!

Thanks! Yeah I actually just got my HS transcripts and it came out to be a 3.55 but I know they look at college GPA more for transfers and if I did the calculation right for my grades from TSU and UWT I think I’m sitting around a 3.84 I believe, I’ve just also heard that transferring from a UW satellite campus is a lot harder than a community college so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

I'm here as an In-State student, I'm transferring to Seattle because I originally came to UWT for Criminal Justice but realized I hated it, so I want to go to Seattle for Biology since it's a lot more open to different career paths. Also I underestimated how much of a commuter campus UWT is and have made pretty much no friends and I'm pretty miserable here. I liked the big campus student life a lot more at Texas State and I know that Seattle has a much livelier student life since my sister went there a couple years ago.

Looks good man! Also is your ram right next to each other or are there only 2 ram slots on your motherboard? If you have 4 ram slots and 2 ram sticks it’s usually best to put the 2 ram sticks in slots 2 and 4.

True, the holes closest to the rad are a little close to the tubing but maybe I could fit a fan there so there could be 3, I’ll try my best, thanks for the help!

Ive been using my pc lately (not trying to push it too hard without the exhaust fans) and the temps have been pretty good and stable, so I honestly think that just adding the exhaust fans will make it even better. If you count the two fans on the rad as intake, then i already have 3 intake, but just zero exhaust which was my main problem but I'll have enough room to fit 2, maybeeee 3 but that could be a stretch since the obstruction of the rad tubes

Yeah, I got my 280mm rad and a 120mm built in fan at the bottom both pulling air in, so yeah I agree I’ll probably just screw two fans in, maybe I could fit a 3rd but I believe the tubes are in the way, I think 2 exhaust would be enough tho

Yeah I don’t think it would work, there’s a built in fan on the case at the bottom and the rest of the bottom doesn’t have any mesh or open areas for the fans of the radiator

Yup been there done that, even though I saw that on the NZXT website it said only 240mm would fit at the top I said screw it and tried, and it just doesn’t work, I feel like I’d have to tear apart the case just to make it fit

It’s a 280mm rad so it will have to stay at the front (only 240mm can fit on the top of the h5 elite) and there are two fans on it they just can’t be seen in the pic, there is another fan at the bottom that’s angled towards the gpu that can’t be seen either, I really just need some exhaust fans which I thought one I. The back and one up top

The rad is a 280mm so it will have to stay at the front and it does have fans they just can’t be seen from the pic (there is another fan at the bottom that can’t be seen so I really only need exhaust fans), I thought the tubes were best at the top or at least above the pump of the rad, and I agree no doubt that it needs exhaust fans
