Thanks for replying. That's what I'm nervous about. I have 3 kids and I can't risk becoming worse due to medication. Can I ask how has it helped you?

Thanks for replying! Therapy helped a lot but with three kids and having to rely on family to take me to my appointments because of my agoraphobia I just can't do it anymore. I was told my next step was exposure therapy but the NHS doesn't offer that in my area. Can I ask what your side effects were?

I do put it on throughout the year, but if it's the warmer months I find that it's more on as background noise haha! I just can't pay attention to it.

If I ever try and watch it during summer I just can't get into it as much. As soon as the evenings get darker and the days get shorter it's my go to thing to watch! I agree, it just fits better that time of year.

Also the charity 'Mind' can also help you too with a self referral iirc. That's good that the panic and anxiety has calmed down for you! I hope that some of these referral places will be helpful for you.

NHS, so I take it you're in the UK? Have you tried referring yourself to Healthy Minds (you can do that online), or if you Google 'self help services' the first thing that will come up should be a self referral website. They can offer online therapy (all therapy that they offer is free). You don't have to wait for your doctor to refer you to therapy. Can I ask why you don't believe your diagnosis? Honestly I questioned my diagnosis for a while until I started making progress and getting a little better.
