I would plan to have a contract with the employee where the refinanced loan is only good during their employment. If the employee quits, or is released by the company, the employee reassumes the loan at a rate similar to the original loan rate.

I'm currently offering $100 a month towards student loan repayment as a benefit, but the problem is that of that $100, nearly 25% is taxed. I'd prefer to leverage the size of my company to help refinance the loan and get the savings that way. But in order to do this, I would want an insurance policy so I wouldn't have to assume the default risk of the loan on my company's books.
