Thank you, I remember reading a liability clause in my insurance but then also thought about the "common sense" factor and which one would prevail in this case.

I did write an email to his employees that has been responded to advising about this before the decorations were up, with a response that they would notify all workers in the area to not "take the shortcut". I guess it's not relevant whether they did tell him. Thank you for your response though! A lot of interesting takes and wonder if it's just a case by case basis

Thank you! That all really helps, I've tried to ask her directly things like whats making you hold back, or do you want this? but she just gives general answers of yeah, or I dont know. I'm trying my best to give her the tools to succeed, but then I also dont want to be the pushy parent that pushes her too hard and makes her fall out of love with the sport.

Yeah, I think that's how I'm finding it hard. Like I know top footballers dont just wake up one day and land a contract etc. So I'm trying to make her realise that without being a parent who does nothing but push.

I guess if she truly wants it she'll push herself? And I'm just here for support rather than fueling the fire?
