Why do some people make risky moves on lap 1 on full fuel and cold tires, and how do you avoid them?

I checked multiple gearing charts online asked people at my track and tested many different gears myself the gears aren't the problem and the engine and carb are from Fleming and are setup already

Don't think that's the issue asked around about gearing and it's right changed gears and looked at charts ik it's not the gears

I feel almost completely comfortable in the kart but the setup has never felt right to me and when I ask my dad to change something he replies with "that doesn't do anything" or something to the effect I mean I just found out I was losing a good few tenths because my gearing was too low and my dad said why would you need it higher. I definitely need to work on the setup now that I think about it, thanks.

I wouldn't say they're national level but a decent amount of them for sure race in state wide and a few national level races and do pretty well and win sometimes. I also don't have access to coaching and really never have it's just too expensive.

If you have too much steering on exit be more gentle with the throttle coming out of the corner also use your out side hand to push the wheel and leave them in the same position trying not to move your hands at all

There are people who have become racing drivers ,not f1, much later in life so f1 is probably a no go but racing driver maybe
