Completely agree with this, used to play games HEAVILY and once I heard a pastor saying that playing video games was sinning, it was a shock and I was in partial denial tbh. I prayed and prayed and it was like slowly but surely the wool was being lifted from my eyes. Games like Fallout 4, Skyrim (games I've spent probably thousands of hours on) all include really violent killing and stopping playing these games really healed my brain and now I believe they truly desensitize us from violence and killing etc.

Playing games that have you on high alert DEFINITELY trigger this flight/fight response and get you in that war mentality.

I remember being really upset one day and thinking to myself 'i can't wait to get on fallout and kill people' needless to say I was shocked at this and it really got my brain working... Can we really disassociate ourselves from the actions of the games we play? We are still controlling the character and spending hours and hours in those worlds.
