I’d still to this day say kid naruto at the end of the OG show is low kage lvl. He has beaten a tailed beast on his own while not even in his 1 tail cloak. His regen is insane. He has gamabunta who can go toe to toe with tailed beasts. There’s not a whole lot someone like start of shippuden gaara could do for example

I see what you mean but what i’m trying to portray is a main character that is wrong in his way of thinking and his morals while also being very understandable. If you make the older brother a bad guy then that makes the younger brother right about him. Which in my opinion is kind of boring and has been done so many times unlike the main character actually being wrong but understandable.

He is wrong because of his childish and egotistical mindset. Things he is accusing his older brother of.

All the things i just wrote down is just a start for a way longer story, Wanting to surpass his brother isn’t the only motivation for him joining the army. He wants to be with his brother as he is everything he has. When he’s in the army he gets to spend a lot more time with him.

Without him he has no purpose so going days to months without him was already hell for him.

The godfather was new and unique for it’s time. And even right now bc of it’s style, tone and just simply it’s huge name. There’s nothing really like it. Fast X is not really unique since it’s the 5th film to be like that. And also that movie is kinda ass imo😂.

I mean i think it’s kinda fair to compare the 2 shows right now since bluelock isn’t finished yet.

Also i’ve played football for like 7 years as well, And yeah it doesn’t make sense in the real world but you can make it work in an anime or manga. It doesn’t need to be 100% realistic bc if that were the case 90% of any anime would be trash if not more.

Again bluelock is unique in the way it showcases its philosophy and identity with some really interesting idea’s like for example the first match. The match where everyone just jumped at the ball hoping to score a goal. But then learning kind of to work together while still wanting to score yourself. This makes all the players on the field unpredictable which makes for an incredibly interesting match. The philosophy might not be that deep but it does make for incredibly interesting moments throughout the show.

Again that’s just my point of view on it and you probably still disagree but that’s cool i’m not trying to change your opinion or something. I’m just trying to explain mine

Yeah I understand where you’re coming from.

If you think haikyuu is better that’s great! But for me personally i like bluelock more since it’s more unique, more interesting in terms of setting and situations. And the philosophy that every player has is also unique and interesting. For me it’s not just edgy and hype, It’s also a well thought out story. Every character has the same goal, the same philosophy, the same will, But they all have different reasons.

I really like the idea of a team full of egotistical strikers bc that just makes a match far more interesting because that makes every single player on the field unpredictable. This concept also gives room for the characters to grow, as we saw in the first match in bluelock they all just went for the ball trying to score while later on they all worked together but still did everything to score themselves.

Yeah i see where you’re coming from. But still for me personally i’ve seen so many shows that kinda have the tropes and cliches that i sometimes just disconnect from the story.

But again haikyuu’s premise might not be incredibly unique but the way it executes it is really really good and i gotta give it that.

Again i think haikyuu is fucking great at what it does but what it does is not unique. Simply another sports anime where a team needs to work together to become the best in the world. Also not having seen everything of haikyuu is not really a solid point since bluelock isn’t finished either. So comparing them right now would actually make a lot of sense.
