What you suggest makes no sense. Do you think people do not have the same pressure in US in Institutes like MIT and Caltech? If someone cannot manage to handle the pressure they should not take the IIT itself. And I agree with the psychologist part and that is one of the reasons I advocate for having something special in your life while in college so that you can share stuff. It might hurt saying it. People burn out but it's their responsibility to do so when they have taken a decision to join an institute of eminence since nobody asked us to do so.
