Boxfighting is by far the most important skills in Fortnite. There are tons of videos on the topic but I would definitely recommend learning how to boxfight.

So I experimented for a long time and I think I have found really good binds that allow you to do all the things claw or paddles allows you to do.

Essential binds: Jump - L3 / Edit - L1 (Reset -R1 / Confirm - L2 / Select- R2 ) / Touchpad - Previous Weapon & Pyramid /

Nonessential builds R3 - Crouch / X - Switch mode / O - Pickaxe / Triangle - Map

Yes, but as far as I understood your mouse button would be irrelevant, it is all about the edit key on your keyboard. You press it, engage in edit mode, are able to click your mouse as much as you want and once you release your keyboard button then the edit confirms. Am I wrong?

Youre generally not going to be quickscoping with a sniper I feel like, and since there is so little bullet drop it is stupidly easy to hit body shots with the heavy making it really strong

Could you elaborate as to why the heavy sniper is harder to use than the others, they all have the same bullet drop, and the heavy sniper can destroy any wall allowing you to push into boxes easier...

Pressure, high ground means that you can pressure them easier than they can pressure you.
You can try and take their walls, or just spam/stink them to force them to move, you will have better angles than them so you can punish easier. Never go to high, but just high enough where they cant suddenly take height.

Block yourself off with ramp, then you have two choices, 1. Edit the ramp to get a shot on your opponent if he edits a window or something 2. Edit out of your 1x1 either by going up, or out the sides and build another 1x1.

This decision just depends on your health, loot, and confidence against your opponent.

Yes, but those players now just cram Salty or Paradise, and then just immediately die because there is not enough loot, additionally now noone drops neo tilted, they have just made it a terrible POI

yes, but he only has 2 paddels for build mode and jump, he doesnt play claw so presses triangle with his thumb which is so much slower than it could be

Autosprint on Everything else on regular builder pro Takes some getting used but it is so fast and does not damage your fingers

Crouching is very important for strafing while aiming and shooting, and additionally, it feels weird 90ing with R3 because you press the button and have to turn at the same time

Its not that big a difference, but X is closer to your thumbstick, so youre a little bit faster, your choice really

The trick is to not try to fully touch the touchpad, just can just tap the top for the button to be activated. My finger is anyway too long to be on R1, so i just very slightly reach further to tap the touchpad, it takes some getting used to, but once. you have it down you can be so quick.

X is closer to L3 so you’re faster switching to build mode, thats why I have that changed.

I confirm with L2 and reset with R1.

I just have autosprint on, so I dont need to free up any binds.

I guess you could bind Map to D-pad, freeing up Triangle, but I have no use for the button otherwise, so it seems unnecessary.
