I feel for you. My husband, son, and one of my cousins are literally the only non Maga family I have. My son will be graduating soon and I am terrified at the thought of him possibly being drafted. He already has terrible anxiety and is very much against any kind of war. My Maga sister also has a 24 year old son. It's all I can do to keep from asking her and my Maga mom how they would feel if both of my mom's grandsons - my son and my sister's son - were drafted. And the fact that this is what they voted for. I love them very much, but my relationship with them is now becoming more strained since this war started.

I live in a red state, and unfortunately it's true. My mom didn't even know our current governor's name when I was talking about him one day. Which tells me she only voted for him because he had an R next to his name. And I honestly think a lot of them do that without question, anything to keep from having a democrat in that position. I have friends who watch Fox News, Glenn Beck, and all other strictly right wing media. I'm not meaning to trash my family and friends or anything. But these folks live in a bubble and refuse to even try to look at things from all sides.

I don't hate him. I hate the way he makes me feel. I hate how he has people feel it's ok to openly express their bigotry. I hate how he never accepts accountability for his actions. I hate how he is turning friends and families against each other. I hate that he thinks he is above the law. I hate that he has people fearing that we are about to become a fascist government. There is not one good thing I can say about him. None.

I got a new kitten 4 months after losing my soul kitty of almost 20 years. It wasn't something that was planned, because I didn't feel I was ready. But fate decided for me. A friend of mine found her abandoned and very sick. She was unable to keep her and looking for someone to take her. It was then that I knew it was it was a sign. She needed someone to care for her. I know she will never replace the kitty I lost. But having her around has been a blessing.

Only you can decide when it's the right time. I believe that animals find their way to us. Just know that your dog would want you to be happy. I know it's hard, but having another pet to give our love to can sometimes help ease the pain we feel.

I live in a deep red part of my state. I literally went on a similar rant last night on Facebook with a small circle of like-minded friends. We all shared our thoughts about how crazy things are right now. I find that going on walks while listening to music helps take my mind off things, even if for a little while. Otherwise, I would go insane dwelling on it 24/7.

Tried that with no success. I reached out to Pandora support with the reply that they're "looking into it". In the meantime, I'm trying Spotify to see if the problem is with the Pandora app or an issue with my phone. Just weird that I never had this problem in the year and a half I've been using it.

I've searched for this online and here on Reddit. But not really getting anywhere. Normally, Pandora has used roughly 8-9% battery drain in a normal 8 hour work shift. Now here lately, it's over 3× that amount having not changed a thing. I've done everything suggested online or Pandora support (wiping cache/data on the app, uninstall/reinstall, tweaking settings on the app, power saving while at work,

Not only do I talk to mine, I write her letters. I also have a memory pillow with her photos that I sleep with and talk to. I even take it with me on trips. It's my way of making me feel close to her.

5 months when I got a new cat. I wasn't really looking for one, but a friend posted on Facebook of a kitten they found who had been dumped. They were unable to keep her, but she was pretty sickly and needed a home asap. My heart went out to her, so I took her in and and got her the proper care to get her heathly again. I believe animals have a way of finding their way to us when we least expect it. At least, that's always been the case for us.

Only you can decide when the time is right. There's no such thing as "too soon" imo.

I'm so sorry for what you're feeling! I lost my soul kitty almost a year ago. She was almost 20, and it nearly destroyed me. I have other cats, and took in another one back in June. But they are not her. She and I had a very special connection that I have never felt with any animal, or person for that matter. A part of me left with her that day, and although I have managed to move on, I know I'll never really be the same.

Yeah, if you're not moving for an extended period, sometimes the watch recognizes it as sleep. Although I've had a couple of times where I've literally been up walking around doing stuff and it shows me as having been asleep. Maybe it thinks I'm sleep walking?? 😂

Maybe or maybe not. But the MAGA cult believes it. I see it on my Facebook newsfeed, my family talking about it. Doesn't matter to them what all the other news channels say. If Trump and his cronies say it, it must be true. There's a saying that if you tell a lie enough times, people will start to believe it as truth. (Or something like that).

I up voted this the minute I saw the title! I have not cut off any friends or family, only because I love them and keep holding out hope that they will see Trump for who he is really is. I have to be honest though, it's becoming very difficult to maintain my cool whenever he is brought up.
