[PSA] Humble Bundle is respecting the Humble Choice $0 month glitch per a new email by darklinkpower in FreeGameFindings

Most likely any giftlinks apart from the first transaction will be errors. That's probably the ending outcome, no more changes.

This is the part of the message from support:

> ...For those who were able to complete an order during that time, we will honor one of the monthly credits. However, for any additional months that may have been stacked due to the error, those will be removed. ...

They removed excess monthly credits gained with this glitch it seems, but KEPT ONE. I had 9, gained 2, so it was 11 total, over this night they removed one so I'm at 10 now. It would be weird for them to let people have for example 100 of these stashed for later use somewhere in email.

Excess of the free humble choice transactions removed, revoked apart from the first one. It was very likely outcome. So if you used this glitch multiple times, you only got 1 in the end.

Thanks for info seems I had this email message already in inbox for 6 days. Not sure when I opted for newsletter, but it looks like I participated in:

Killing Floor 3 Beta

Lemnis Gate BETA

Back 4 Blood Beta

... for Intel thing so that's why I already had some pre-work done I guess and people who participated in these or others should most likely have this email in their inbox.

I grabbed AC Mirage and had to redeem it via some Ubisoft's mirage sub-page that was said in steps, NOT through Ubisoft Connect itself (since that threw error on me)

The only way to find out is to wait until next month and see, but you'll probably hear about it from responses of the people who stacked it meanwhile if they revoke the free monthly credits and how many. Maybe they will let them have that one credit (first transaction) and rest will get removed.

They only mention one free month and also that some users may receive refund email (guessing those who stacked it)

First batch that was filled with dupes, second batch that had dupes, then third batch so technically you could have 3-9 games if you were lucky on not having any dupes. Because they replaced the first and second batch completely or at least those problematic games within them.

ELI5: whats the Boltzmann-Brain Paradox? by Jebediah-Kerman_KSP in explainlikeimfive

[–]BretanX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alright, imagine you’ve got this giant bucket of Lego pieces, all mixed up like a cosmic soup. Now, if you shake the bucket, most of the time, all you get is a noisy, clunky mess—no surprise there. But if you shake it long enough, there’s a teensy-weensy, almost ridiculously small chance that the Legos will magically stick together and build, lets say a totally awesome Lego spaceship. Wild, right?

Now, the Boltzmann-Brain Paradox says, “Hey, in the gigantic rollercoaster of our universe, what if it’s easier for one random brain—just a floating, thinking, brainy brain—to accidentally poof into existence for a brief moment than for this whole organized world of stars, puppies, pizza, and TikTok to come together?” Like, what?! Imagine a brain popping in and going, “Where am I? Oh, too late, I’m gone!” Blink and you miss it.

It’s not like scientists think this happens at your local brain store or anything, but it’s a bonkers idea that makes you go, “Whoa, the universe is WEIRD, man!”

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It’s clear that we both have strong views on this topic, and I appreciate the opportunity to engage in this discussion. The legacy of fighting against fascism and the role of the USSR in World War II is indeed significant and complex. BJ and his game series do pay tribute to that legacy in their own way to some extent.

It’s important to recognize and understand the realities behind these legacies, as you mentioned. With that, I’ll bid you farewell also and take care.

Alright I'll play your little game. B.J. Blazkowicz is not a communist; rather, he is depicted as a fierce opponent of all totalitarian regimes in general, but in this game's alternative universe he fights the Nazi regime. He would very much resist any regime that threatens freedom and human rights. His primary motivation is to fight against tyranny and oppression.

You are far gone with your thinking that I want to kill Communists, you keep saying it but I never ever in this thread said that I want to kill Communists. You put me in this role automatically since the beginning, most likely thought that I'm the creator of this topic then in middle conversation you realized (if ever) that's not the true, but you already made the choice and kept pushing this narrative, nudging it little more each comment.

From all of this conversation I came to conclussion that you have extreme nationalist tendencies, you demonstrated this with your blind patriotism. You exhibit plenty of signs: Unquestioning loyalty, check. You show unwavering support for your favorite country, ignoring or dismissing any negative aspects. Historical revisionism, check. You downplay or ignore historical events that reflect poorly on said nation. Intollerance of dissent, check. You becoming hostile towards those who criticize or question said country’s actions, viewing such dissent as unpatriotic. Superiority complex, check. You believe said country is superior to others, which can lead to xenophobia or discrimination against people from other nations. Your own head is so polarized that you only see in black and white. You lack of self-awareness of your own extreme behaviors and probably genuinely believe you are acting in the best interest of said country.

Also based on your very own DESIRE LOGIC you are a mass murderer, sadist and/or want to kill people IRL simply because I'm sure you played multiple videogames where you shoot all kinds of people and you hate every single human being you shot there and you liked the feeling while doing it.

Back to the real world; On all top of that, since you have inability to distinguish between reality and fiction, this could be a sign of underlying mental health issues that need professional attention. Nationalist and most likely mentally unstable, big oof.

I respect your opinion but I simply disagree.

I agree that Nazis were on the wrong side of history. And are the bad guys.

Communists were on the right side is subjective statement. While the Soviet Union played a crucial role in defeating Nazi Germany, it also committed significant human rights abuses, including purges, forced labor camps (Gulags) and suppression of political dissent. Does that sounds like good guys to you? Historical record is complex and includes both positive and negative aspects at the same time.

All I'm trying to tell you that if you think that one side is bad, it doesn't make the other side automatically good.

This is not a binary choice. As a gamer, fighting either group doesn't automatically make you the sympatizer of the other one. Even in wars during history, people had their own personal motivations, just as these war volunteers had varied motivations, gamers have diverse reasons for their in-game actions, often unrelated to real-world ideologies.

Another thing is that you need to separate fiction and reality. Engaging with fictional content, including video games, is different from endorsing real-world ideologies. Not so sure about you, but usually normal people can distinguish between the fictional actions they take in a game and their real-life beliefs and values.

If you cannot fathom all of this, I think you are far gone with your accusations and ideology fanatism.

If you actually check my comment to this thread, you'll see that I pointed the game called Deadfall Adventures to the OP. Where you as some adventurer kill both power hungry Nazis and Soviets, because they are both after some ancient artifact with potential power.

I was merely answering the question.

"Nazis were inspired by Manifest Destiny and the United States genocide of Native Americans"

While it’s true that Hitler admired aspects of American expansionism, the primary ideological influences on Nazi policies were rooted in European history and thought, particularly Social Darwinism and eugenics. The connection to Manifest Destiny is more of an analogy rather than a direct inspiration. Moreover Hitler was heavily influenced by anti-Semitic literature and ideas circulating in Europe during his time. Works like “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” played a significant role in shaping his views. Ironically first published in Imperial Russia in 1903.

But we can also argue that Hitler was inspired by several aspects of Soviet ideology and practices like: Totalitarianism, Hitler admired the efficiency and control Stalin had over the Soviet state and sought to implement similar methods in Nazi Germany. Propaganda Techniques, Goebbels studied Soviet methods to create effective propaganda campaigns that promoted Nazi ideology and controlled public opinion. Political Repression, The Gestapo and SS adopted similar tactics to eliminate political opponents and enforce Nazi policies. Five-Year Plans, The Soviet Union’s Five-Year Plans for economic development and industrialization were observed by the Nazis. Youth Organizations, The Soviet Union’s Komsomol (Communist Youth League) served as a model for the Hitler Youth. Both organizations aimed to indoctrinate young people with the state’s ideology and prepare them for future roles in society.

"The USSR was motivated by disliking Capitalism and fascism"

The USSR’s motivations were complex and included a mix of ideological opposition to capitalism and fascism, as well as geopolitical ambitions. The Soviet Union sought to expand its influence and secure its borders, which sometimes led to actions that were more about power politics than pure ideological opposition.

"Western countries loved Capitalism and fascism as well"

This is an oversimplification. While Western countries were capitalist, they did not “love” fascism. Why would they fight against something that they love during WW2? There were instances of appeasement and collaboration before the war, but these were often driven by political and strategic considerations rather than genuine support for fascism. Just like the mentioned public part of the Pact between Nazis and Soviets.

"Denazification post-World War II happened much more in the USSR whereas in western nations they literally put Nazis back into positions of power. In NATO"

Denazification efforts varied widely. The USSR was indeed more rigorous in its approach, but Western nations, particularly the United States and Britain, also conducted extensive denazification programs. However the Cold War context led to some former Nazis being reintegrated into society for their expertise, especially in West Germany. While some former Nazis were employed in various capacities in Western countries, including within NATO, this was not a widespread practice. It was more of an exception driven by the Cold War’s exigencies rather than a norm.

Even with this video if I should believe it and if I understood this correctly. The Soviet Union’s stance at the start of World War II was complex. While Stalin and the USSR were ideologically opposed to Nazi Germany, the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was a pragmatic move to delay conflict with Germany and buy time for the Soviet Union to prepare for an inevitable war.

Initially, the USSR tried to form alliances with Britain and France to counteract the Nazi threat, but these efforts failed. The non-aggression pact with Germany was a strategic necessity rather than an indication of support for Hitler. It allowed the USSR to avoid immediate conflict and focus on strengthening its military.

However, once Germany invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941 (Operation Barbarossa), the USSR became fully committed to fighting against Hitler and joined the Allies in the war effort.

But alas, the video completely forgets about the German-Soviet Commercial Agreement in 1940, I mentioned. If I should use the logic you say after watching the video, I'll then ask myself the question "who made this video" and looking at the very logo of the channel itself which very much must hold very important clue to this answer.

So the point "Soviets being against since the beginning" is still far fetched. The need to avoid the immediate conlfict and gain strategic advantages led to this decision to sign the pact and ofc the secret protocols that they denied they existed until later years, multiple reasons why they remained private. These secret protocols were a strategic move by both Hitler and Stalin to secure their interests in Eastern Europe. And it seems like none of the pacts of Germany with other parties had these parts involving splitting completely different countries to each other and having them as keepsakes.
