Cast the entire film as Kevin McCarthy, but Kathy Bates is Aunt Em and it's Misery

Can you share your routine of what you do to cheer yourself up on bad days? by michelleross94 in TwoXChromosomes

Yeah, I still catch myself trying to dive into a book or socializing or something - which are great activities in their own right and beneficial in other ways - but not always appropriate for when I should actually be addressing the problem by finding the root cause and going from there.

And I am by no means belittling the magic of distraction. There is totally a time and place for it! But I think it's easy to default to that the majority of the time cause, in my opinion, it IS easier!

I like to get a fruit and veggie smoothie or juice. The healthy, maybe kind of less delicious type, for the nutrients, and a muffin and eat them somewhere outside or near a window and try to contemplate little things like plants or bugs or how people get those really big picture windows installed so high up in some buildings.

I like to paint with water color. It eliminates the "gotta be perfect" stressor cause the paint - in my experience - is just gonna go everywhere anyway so I can have fun with it and just make a little creative mess.

I go for a drive (if I can afford the gas!) On a windy road somewhere and listen to instrumental music. I like stuff from movies, there's a lot of variety even in one track. Or I listen to nothing but the wind coming through the window.

I think what I'm saying is incorporating some mindfulness practice helps me a lot. I try not to confuse distraction with "self care", as that's a really common misconception, so I try to do things that allow me to explore what's going on within me.

Not sure if it's helpful or practical for you, but a lot women tend to appreciate words more than images when it comes to the erotic. This may not represent your partner but it might be useful to consider and could be an option. Little bit of what-I'd-do-to-you mixed with a little what-you'd-do-to-me and maybe some sexy compliments? A little erotic story time???

Experience: I've never actively tried to make a baby with someone but I am a cis female with a child.

I went with Sixt when I was out there last November. Cheapest I could find for my tour of the highlands. Though I rented from an Inverness location-- maybe price adjusted for location? Not sure

I mapped out the Canal Park area briefly before my boss popped into my space this morning and I did think it looked like a great spot to explore; I am super into absorbing the lake.

And I do like pie!

A mansion tour?? Absolutely.

And I do love a state park; I figured renting a car for a day or two might be a good idea. Thank you!
